CGIAR Initiative on Climate Resilience (ClimBeR)
The CGIAR Initiative on Climate Resilience, also known as ClimBeR, is a three-year research Initiative (2022-2024) that aims to transform the climate adaptation capacity of food, land, and water systems in Kenya, Zambia, Senegal, Morocco, Guatemala, and the Philippines. The Initiative’s ultimate goal is to increase the resilience of smallholder production systems against severe climate change effects such as drought, flooding, and high temperatures.
In the Philippines, IIRR generates evidence and highlights key outcomes to support transformative adaptation through action research and communication components.
